1 dead following industrial accident in Sharonville, Ohio

Make sure everyone at the site is aware you're working, and make sure the machine is functioning correctly.

If you've been following the news in early March, you may have heard about an industrial accident in Sharonville. While there is no immediate information on what caused this accident in Ohio, police have reported an industrial accident that resulted in a 70-year-old man being killed. Then man, who had been working at Art's Rental Equipment and Supply in Sharonville, somehow became entrapped while working with a front-end loader.

Police reported arriving at the scene after being alerted to the fact that someone had been badly hurt. At the scene, employees were able to free the man, who was described as being crushed by the machine to 911. When workers reported the accident, they claimed that the man had been working on the Bobcat when he was involved in the accident.

Following the accident, the man's condition was described as being grave. Although the employees and others tried to revive him, the man was unresponsive and later died from his injuries.

After accidents like this one, it's normal for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to become involved in the investigation. Once police and OSHA know the reason for the accident, they typically release the information and then can move forward with recommendations for the company and its employees.
