As the Social Security Administration moves into the future, it is asking people to head to a computer rather than head to a Social Security office, which most associate with frustratingly long waits. Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation holds honorary ceremony

In Ohio, more than five million people head to work each day. Unfortunately, workplace accidents claim the lives of some of those people each year. In an effort to recognize those people, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation decided to honor the 145 men and women who lost their lives while on the job in the past year.

Number of workplace fatalities in 2010 sees slight decrease

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is preparing to finalize a new version of a yearly report. The report, called the National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, looks at workplace injuries that resulted in fatalities each year and determines if occupations in the country are becoming more or less safe. By analyzing this report, individuals in Ohio can gain a better understanding of the large number of workplace injuries that lead to wrongful deaths.
