Many people are unaware of a benefit called permanent partial disability. Permanent partial disability reimburses you for any physical permanent damages that you are suffering from your injury. For example you suffer a back injury which causes you pain down your right leg. You are still working but you cannot do such activities such as throwing a baseball with your son in the backyard. This damage will pay you for those damages and those losses that you suffered as a result of this injury. Another type of permanent partial disability award is for amputation or loss of use. If you have lost the use of, for instance, of your fingers, your hands, your leg, you are entitled to receive a damage award for this loss as well.
